Advantages: Vast applications, great looks and interface, decent camera, best mp3 player around
Disadvantages: battery life
Although it takes a lot to persuade me, I wanted the Apple iPhone as soon as I saw those great TV ads...and when I got it, I certainly wasn't disappointed.
The first thing to say about the iPhone is that it is phenomenally pleasing on the eye with slick looks and an incredibly intelligent interface. Although, I'd definitely advise purchasing a case if you want to keep it this way!
Without a doubt, the best feature of the iPhone is the capability it offers its user to customize it to whatever they choose. The vast library of applications available enables the user to turn the iPhone into a powerful multi-media gimmick, and generally makes life easier for consumers. Whether your just wanting to browse the net wherever you are or if you can't remember where you parked your car, the iPhone will take you there.
Although the camera is only 2.0 mexapixels it still manages to produce good quality photos. One down side is that there is no record function! Meanwhile, the iPod function is fantastic, easy to use and saves you buying an additional mp3 player.
The only main issue that I have with the iPhone is its battery life. Unfortunately it does tend to require a recharge every 24-36 hours, probably dependent on the amount of applications which the user is running.
Overall, the Apple iPhone has created a ground-breaking and very high standard for phone/mp3 players across the market that other companies will struggle to match.
Summary: A fantastic option if you require a new phone and/or mp3 player.
