Advantages: Design, build, application availability

Disadvantages: Battery life on 3G but no different from competitors

I waited a while before getting my iPhone 3G 8GB just to see if they were going to bring out any more new models - Apple are a bit guilty of that.

In the end I could wait no longer and I must say I was not disappointed.
This is easily the best mobile device I've ever had, and I've had a few in my time.

The screen is great quality, the User Interface extremely easy to use and it just looks the business! There are many negative reviews out there about the iPhone, but when it comes down to it, it ticks all the boxes.

The number of apps for the iPhone far outnumbers those available for the other touchscreen devices, and although many are pointless time-wasters, there are equally as many that are extremely useful.

The only negative thing I would say is that with 3G switched on, it uses up the battery charge fairly rapidly, but it automatically connects to any WiFi in range to give you the fastest connection possible.
