Apple Iphone is it worth the hype (Apple iPhone 8 GB)

As with many people l get very bored with my mobile phones and can't wait until it is time to get an upgrade to the latest shiniest mobile on the market. That was until l bit the bullet and purchased an apple iphone 3G. Firstly l had to end my old contract that l had for years in order to give good money to o2 for the privilege of owning an apple iphone. Was it worth it you may ask and the answer would be yes yes and three times yes, because of a few killer functions. The whole idea that you can connect your phone to internet has been around for a while and mobile companies have tried their best to offer an online experience through a tiny mobile screen. Unfortunately it doesn't really work, that is until you look at pages using the phone 3.5" touch screen and then you can really take advantage of mobile internet. The screen is sharp with a bright backlight and vivid colours, but don't expect miracles in broad daylight. I watched three movies on a long flight and found the screen was fantastic considering it is a mobile phone. The operating system is slick and fairly responsive and the applications that come with the phone are pretty bog standard, except there is no video camera mode which is pretty poor and the camera its self is not the best on the market, most pictures are average to good. The battery life is not great l seem to have to charge it up every three days of so with little usage, but if you are on the internet allot of using it for media playback you may have to charge it every day. The biggest thing for me that will keep me using this phone is that fact that the are thousands of applications available to download through the iTunes website, which means l can continually add new things to keep me amused from social networking to online massively multiplayer games and many of them are free to download. As with most apple products don't expect the earth to shake from the audio playback as there is little in the way of base.
