Advantages: Aesthetic qualities, ease-of-use, function, the app store!!!

Disadvantages: The battery life could be longer and the camera could be improved.

I have had my iPhone 3G 8GB model on Pay as you go since Christmas and think that it is absolutly brilliant. I understand that it is an initially high price to pay however I assure you that to me it has been worth every penny. I go on it each day and question what I would do without it.

The app store is superb, there is literally hundreds of new apps and many of them are free, released each month. It makes the iphone constantly interesting as it were and you never feel bored with it.
Being able to go on the internet and price compare whilst out shopping is a brilliant feature. Also being able to keep in contact with friends with the IM app is great fun! The camera is not particulalry good however, it is good enough for the ocassional photo with your friends and family. Many people have complained about there not being a zoom function for the iphone camera, now there is am app that allows you to zoom!

I find that 8GB is plentiful for my needs where you can download 50+ apps with each and store 1-2 films and hundreds of music or photo's. Even if you did feel that 8GB was too small you could upgrade to the more expensive 16GB version. I think that the aesthetics and design is what makes the iphone what it is, the chrome finish around the outside makes it look very sleek and stylish. It is very intuiative and easy to use which is always good for those less tech-savy.

The fact that you can take photo's and then send that photo home with a few taps is very appealing to many people. I can promise you that the variety of the functions available make this phone well worth it. If you have seen the apple adverts you will know how good it is, it really is truly brilliant.

Typing is not a problem at all and you will find that every feature of the iphone is designed for ease-of-use. The operating system is exceptional and looks very stylish.

The battery life is relativly good lasting around 3 hours when in use, however, it is not as good when compared to Nokia's and some Blackberry's. The sound quality is very good and the built in speaker is really quite powerful whilst delivering a good level of audio quality which will serve your music justice.

Overall I could not recommend this anymore, it is without a doubt one of the best things that I have ever bought and I am so pleased that i got it. I promise you that it is well worth the money and with the endless supply of apps being released, what are you waiting for? The iphone never does loose its appeal.
