Advantages: Loads of positives: it's an iphone!

Disadvantages: Not enough capacity for music and video

i got this phone when it was first released, and it was great - but not perfect.

sure, it's an iphone. and with that comes the knowledge that you have the most advanced bit of kit on the market. the screen is vast glossy and responsive. colours look rich, and details look sharp.

plus, you have an ipod built right in! but this is where the 8gb model suffers. if you actually want to take advantage of the great media playing abilities of the iphone i believe you need more memory!

8gb sounds like plenty, but remember that once the disk is actually formatted this drops to around 7.4gb. and once the iphone OS is installed this leaves you with less than 7gb to actually use for music. and video - don;t forget how much space your movies take up, even if they are compressed.

i seriously recommend music lovers splash out a little extra and get the 16gb version. that's what i ended up doing!
