Disadvantages: my phone (only 6months old) won't switch on

This phone was touted as being a great phone, so I purchased one. It doesn't hold its charge well, only gives about 40 minutes talk time, and shuts off in the middle of a call. NONE of these things bothered me too much, but when it turned itself off and would not switch back on, then I got a little snippy. I returned it to where I purchased it from, by which time the store staff denied having ever seen, let alone sold such a product (thank goodness for a receipt), and sent it away for repair. Six weeks later I got my phone back, but guess what? It won't switch on. I am back to having a useless piece of equipment, that apparently cannot be repaired. I wanted a refund, but the store won't give me one, and I can't find any information about the manufacturer in the supplied booklet!

I would not recommend this phone, the A120, or the Bird brand to anyone.
