I have several close friends with different types of Blackberrys and it saves me many, many texts from my contract allowance by using this application. It is instant messenging, for those who don't know it, but between Blackberry users only. To add contacts you must exchange your Blackberry PIN number (given to you when you get the phone) which is and 7 letter/number long combination - seriously, pinging BBM IM's back and forth becomes very addictive! Premium Review Blackberry Curve 8300: Still not bored of my Blackberry (501 words)
by - written on 15/10/08 (Very useful, 105 readings)
Rating:

I've always loved owning a Blackberry, but as RIM face more and more competition from competing products they've had to become more innovative with their designs and product offerings. I have previously owned a 7290 and an 8700g, both great phones with the famous Blackberry addictive email quality thrown in. If you get the right tariff with unlimited data you can do all the instant messaging, email and web surfing (slow web surfing) that you can manage. The 8800 and 8300 (Curve) were released around the same time, I had a choice between getting the 8800 which had Wi-fi, or the 8300 that had a camera. I was excited to get the Blackberry ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review The Blackberry Curve, I'd recommend it to anyone! (568 words)

I just got this phone on Monday and I have never had a better phone! Pros: 1) It is a smartphone, and therefore has many many applications. On some phones I would deem these as unnecesary but I can actually see myself using some of these. E.g. Maps, Wi-fi, Voice notes to go, Password keeper and of course Blackberry Messenger (I will talk more on this in a moment). It is also very beautiful for a smartphone, it is slim and has an easy to use QWERTY keyboard. 2) Installing the disk onto my computer was very easy, and now I can link information between my computer and phone very simply. My last phone had software provided too, but it was much ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Blackberry Curve 8300: Blackberry-Not just a pretty face (261 words)
by - written on 14/05/09 (Very useful, 9 readings)

Before i go on you must understand a few things. I am a woman, I am not a gadget addict...BUT i love my blackberry. Ive never had a blackberry before and heard they were clumsy, the keyboard was hard to test and type with and overall they were more of a fashion accessory. Mine came free with work so i thought id give it a go. What i use mine for- Mainly work use. I phone and text people in the same way i ever did. The keyboard is not at all an issue after a couple of days of getting used to it. What has changed from my previous phones is that now i can easily send and receive email. This has made my life so much easier. Less trips into the office ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review A phone you soon won't be able to live without! (310 words)
by - written on 13/05/09 (Very useful, 10 readings)
Rating:

I've had this phone for about 3 months. It's the first blackberry I've owned and I wouldn't go back to my old phone now (a Samsung). The good points: great internet connection in most places (95% of the time, I'd say). The calendar is really easy to use and great for reminding you of those little things. This is the first phone where I've actually bothered to use this function, and I think this is primarily down to how easy it is to use. The qwerty keyboard is great as opposed to regular mobile phone typing set-ups. It took me a while at first to get used to it, particularly the punctuation side of thing. Once you've got the hang of it, it's really not an ...  Read the complete review
