Storm destroys opposition (Blackberry Storm)

Advantages: Applications are first rate and plentiful, even the freebies are good. Disadvantages: poor battery life I have had my Blackberry Storm for 10 days now and I am in a quandry. I love the phone, I find the touch screen very responsive an the applications that came with my vodafone contract are extremely worthwhile. The screen is very easy to read and when browsing the internetit is very simple to increase the size of the icons to select theone you want. Both Google and Blackberry maps are included as is Vodafones Find and Go sat nav system which I find is as good as if not better than my Tom Tom. I have also downloaded a couple of Ebooks and read them using the provided Go Spoken Software. The text was easily readable and it was simple to download the books from Go Spoken although they are more expensive than the real hard copy pof the texts. The sound quality of the music is first class for a phone and the supplied earphones are of a good quality. Television reception is excellentprovided you are in a good quality 3g reception area. Everything positive so far, well here comes the let down. The battery life is appalling and I have had to resort to purchasing a spare battery and swapping them during the day. The storm would score 10 out of 10 but for the awful battery life. Far superior to the iphone in my opinion and not as expensive. Summary: buy it, its great just dont forget the spare battery.
