Premium Review Blackberry Storm: The only real competitor to the iPhone. (529 words)

Rating:

The Blackberry Storm is one of only a few touchscreen mobile phones currently available on the market, with the handset being exclusive to Vodafone. RIM are known for their tailoring towards the business market with their Blackberry models that are all very email and web based. The Storm is no exception, with the ability to keep track ...  Read the complete review

Had the blackberry storm for 5 months and to be honest cant see what all the fuss is about. From a business perspective i think it is good as it allows you to check emails and write emails on the go as well as have applications for word, powerpoint and excel so you can download work form your pc. as for the touch screen i prefer the i phone as the ...  Read the complete review

I normally like to write a fully in-depth review on dooyoo but this one will not be up to my normal standards as I only had this phone for three days as it is without doubt the worst piece of kit I have ever used. Some may say that I didn't give it a chance but there's a difference between perservering with a phone while you learn how ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Stormin' Business Device (615 words)
by - written on 21/09/09 (Very useful, 10 readings)
Rating:

From a business point of view this device is first class. The only real problems I can identify are that the battery life is fairly restricted and moving from screen to screen can be a little slow compared to the smoother iPhone. However, the good points! As I say, from a business point of view, this is a very good device. It allows ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Blackberry Storm: Really Terrible. (169 words)
by - written on 13/09/09 (Useful, 22 readings)

This phone is one of the worst phones I have ever owned. I am very good with technology but this is extremly difficult to use and is definately not the type of phone you can just take out of the box and use. Texting is very difficult, anyone with even slightly larger fingers will have problems using the keypad. It is also difficult to unlock the ...  Read the complete review

I have had my Blackberry Storm for 10 days now and I am in a quandry. I love the phone, I find the touch screen very responsive an the applications that came with my vodafone contract are extremely worthwhile. As a previous owner of the iPhone, I had high expectations for this phone! I was not disappointed! I found this phone to be excellent. Not only would it cater for a teenager/young adult, it could serve to be the perfect business phone. It has a huge range of useful features, mainly the one which allows emails to come through to your ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review avoid the storm (182 words)
by - written on 20/08/09 (Useful, 10 readings)
Rating:

I think I used this phone only once properly as that's the only time I could get it to work! Avoid - it is terrible and not what I would expect from Blackberry having used their phones. The touch screen is very unresponsive and barely reacts to what you want it to do constantly going to a completely random menu and then ...  Read the complete review

Do not buy this phone. I got conned into picking up this phone by Vodafone after they told me that it was as good as the iPhone and that the would do me a good deal that would better anything O2 could give me. Express Review on Blackberry Storm
by Martin - written on 23/07/09
Rating:

Dreadful!
The signal strength is very poor and as being a phone is the basic use not much good!
Vodafone very unhelful and suggest new SIM (done) use 2G (done) and neither makes the slightest difference. Local store admit that the they have more complaints about the Storm than anything else. Avoid!

First thing to say is I can't live without my Blackberry! I rely on this so much that I now understand why their nickname is a "Crackberry." I have lived with the phone since release date and at first found it very tricky to get the hang of. In some cases it was truly annoying; BUT the phone has been transformed with the latest ...  Read the complete review

I have owned this Blackberry Storm 9500 for approximately 4 months, and I thought an in depth detailed review from the view of an average person was in order! I will mention all the useful bits, and avoid the jargon and pointless facts! I have now had my Blackberry Storm for 3 weeks and after reading reviews for it I thought it was going to be hard to use for at least a few days! But after the first 3 hours I was all set up with my email and was using my new phone to the max. I haven't had a blackerry or a phone I can use for emails before so this was a great thing for ...  Read the complete review

The Blackberry Storm.... Well what can I say? I've had the storm for around 8 months now after changing from the iPhone. The screen is a revolutionary touch screen that has a "clickable" feel to it. When you use the touch screen the entire screen presses down and clicks just like pushing a real button. I felt ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Blackberry Storm: Good until "upgraded" (226 words)
by - written on 08/07/09 (Useful, 16 readings)

A friend recommended this phone to me, as she thought it was wonderful and I was in need of an upgrade. My first impressions of this phone were great. I loved the fact that you have to make the screen "click" to use features, much better than the lighter touch iPhone my partner had. I thought this would stop it from calling ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Great and fun to use! (163 words)

Ultimately, this is a great phone. I my opinion this is the best phone on the market. I believe it is still only avaliable through Vodafone - although, as a network they are great - in conjunction with the storm they're even better. Pretty much constant 3G coverage allows me to get my emails (easily accessed from the home screen) and browse the ...  Read the complete review

I became interested in this phone when I realised that it was touch screen and felt that this perhaps represented a new direction from Blackberry. Due to setting up a small freelance business on the side, I was on the look out for a solid and reliable phone for business needs. The blackberry storm is a new stylish touch screen phone which for me it is a rival to the iphone, it appearance might not be quite as sexy and slim but none the less this is a brilliant phone. The phone is currently only available on vodaphone. The blackberry comes with a massive 3.25 screen which is perfect for this model, the phone ...  Read the complete review
