Advantages: good features, choice of colour
Disadvantages: bit girly, weak receiver
I used a blue 768 for 12 months on a cotract and found it to be a pretty good little phone. If you see past its girly looks then it has several features that stand out. First of all, i like Ericsson's menu system. It is uncluttered and very easy to use. The melody composer was a welcome feature unlike the many strange languages which my friends absolutely loved! very funny! :) The main drawbacks to this phone are that it is old. I got the phone at a lower price just as the T10, its replacement was appearing in the shops. Only being a single band wasn't too much of a problem, it still worked 101% in France and Germany and even if it was dual band i would have still needed my other phone in the US. The display is only 1 line. This made reading and editing text messages a slow procedure. I found the receiver in it to be quite weak meaning people with other friends on the same network received a stronger signal on their phone than i did while stood next to me. This often affected the quality and reliability of calls. Also the well known Ericsson 'characteristic' of the battery not quite fitting the phone. Any slight movement would often cause the phone to lose conntection and switch off...but then maybe it was planned as the battery life isnt too hot anyway! Aside all this i found it a smart attractive little phone. As they say, 'small in size, big on features.'
