Disadvantages: Big Aerial

This Phone is not yet out....but it looks like it's going to be top of the pile. I only hope the price it launches at (conflicting launch dates of Oct-Dec 2000, or Jan-Feb 2001) will keep it competitive. This is the only phone I have been able to find which is Tri-band, Bluetooth enabled and has GPRS for fast internet access.

It is more suited for business users. The looks are not dis-similar to current Ericsson handsets and it is one of the lighter phones around. I saw the prototype model at Live2000 and it looks neat. Nice keypad design for easy control. Nice speakerphone option for calls.

The only downside is the big aerial sticking out. Why can't Ericsson design an internal aerial. Technology has advanced such that the plastic casing should not affect signal reception too much as the metal cases. The Nokia 8210 proves this.....though not as feature packed as the Ericsson.
