Well, I don't even know why I am bothering to write a review now for this phone. It has been on the market for over 2 years, but I have got a hold of it just now. I fell in love with it the first time I saw it a long time ago, but then I had no intention of purchasing a mobile phone. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this baby in the window of a dealer a month ago! I thought the R310 was an extinct species. It seems they stumbled upon a whole load of these phones. This is the strongest and most durable mobile that I have seen. It may not be the best looking phone on the market but it must be one of the most practical phones out their. I recently dropped mine about 20m onto bare rock whilst rock climbing, the phone withstood the fall and only had one scratch to show for it. The first question that comes to your mind when you see this is what is this? Yes, it is certainly a new mobile phone that hasn't really been released yet but what is it? I mean the design. If you ignore the ariel, it certainly looks like a phone but then they put the awful ariel in then it looks like a spaceship or even worse a knob. Apart from the aesthetic complications it is a phone like many other, it has a good standby time and good talk time. It has vibration alert which is fun if you enjoy that kind of thing.
