It's a stretched T28 without the flip up lid. It's a fancy pocket calculator. It's a nice universal remote control with lit display and integrated mobile phone. Oh, so close! It's just the very first WAP-enabled mobile phone by Ericsson. And it's... nice... decent and... not that big. I had the chance to test this baby when it was a hot item. Now it's kind of an oldie. But I still awe at the size of that screen, too bad it has no pictures or "kewl" stuff like that. It was introduced in 1999-2000, so don't bother to look for polyphonic ringtones for this little mutant. This phone's OS is quite similar to other ... Read the complete review

Earlier this year, I had a request from my 85 year old grandfather to obtain him a new mobile phone. His old Ericsson A1018s had died, and he was in need of a replacement. In between the time of the A1018s' death and obtaining his new R320s, he attempted to use my uncle's Trium Mars, and failed due to the relatively small keys. I knew that fashion was not going to be a criterion in my grandfather's choice of mobile phone. What was needed was something which had a large screen and big buttons, which meant an old phone, but also something which had the features that one has come to expect in a modern phone, such as predictive text, WAP and vibration alert, in ... The r320s is Ericsson's answer to the Nokia's popular 7110. On paper both phones have much the same features; WAP browser, big displays, infrared modems and so on. However, Ericsson have taken the a similar approach to the design of the r320s, as they did to the T28s, that is very light and slim. The r320s clocks in at just under 100g, making the 7110 feel much heavier at 141g. The Ericsson also packs in voice dialling and voice memo, both lackingon the 7110. Which is the better then? On aesthetics alone, the two phones are very close. With the help of the Matrix the 7110 and it's active slide generally impresses lot of people. However, the ... Read the complete review

Having decided to purchase a new mobile phone and service plan I began my search on ciao for positive opinions on the phones available, therefore my choice is based on all opinions before it. I eventually decided on the Ericsson R320s with its sleek look and large screen. It may look a little more bulky than the ever popular Nokia phones but for good reason as it is WAP enabled. ------------------------------ Sound Quality Using EFR technology for improved sound quality, the R320s provides clear and extremely audible sound and, even when running on a low battery, the clarity remains excellent. ----------------------------- Main ... Well, for a start it's tiny. I've had a few phones that look small but aren't - Nokia 5110, Ericsson GA628. The R320s on the other hand looks quite chunky until you get your hands on it and realise it's about as thin as a phone could ever get, even with the supplied heavy duty battery it's less than an inch thick at the widest part. Having upgraded from a 7110, I knew most of the features such as WAP and how good/bad they were on that. It was surprising then to find that the 320 was a much nicer phone to use - apart from the animated menus taking fractionally too long to whizz through, the WAP browser is friendly to use and it has a neat ...
