Advantages: Small
Disadvantages: Small screen
Eriksson sell the phone as ‘Great to hold, Hard to put down’ and they are not far wrong in saying this. The phone is available in 4 colours, Blue Whirl, Beige Harmony, Lime Twist (Putrid Colour) and Silver Weave (the most inconspicuous colour of the lot). Features:- 1.) An apparently superb new feature has been added called Swatch Internet Time. This creates a single time zone for the entire world (a day is split up into 1000 beats) although I do not know how useful this is. 2.) Vibrating Alert. I find this an indispensable part of mobile phones as it allows the phone to be noticed but not heard by the user (good for those quiet areas such as libraries). 3.) WAP functions enabling access to the internet (WAP enabled pages only). This feature is great except for the fact that the phone’s screen is a little small and so the sites are harder to see than on, say, a Nokia phone. 4.) Voice dialling and answering is a useful feature although I never seem to put it to much use. If you are used to calling people very frequently then this feature is a godsend as it reduces the amount you have to trawl through the address book. 5.) 4 games are available. Tetris, ballpop, erix and e-maze. Spec:- With 10 hrs talktime (this truly is massive) and up to 200 hours on standby the T20 out performs many of the other phones available and it only weighs 128g. Extra:- Extra accessories that can be bought include an MP3 player that plugs into he bottom of your phone, a portable keyboard for easier text-messaging and fm-radio. Conclusion:- A superb phone and certainly beats the competition, if it can be classed as competition. I was amazed at how good the sound quality of the phone is bearing in mind its compactness and range of functions.
