Premium Review Ericsson T28 World: A world of fun (1135 words)
by - written on 27/06/02 (Very useful, 490 readings)
Rating:

Let's start by saying that "Don't judge this phone from it's picture". Seriously, it doesn't do it justice. Some people think if they've seen one Ericsson, they've seen 'em all. Absolutely not true. This phone is TINY, it's thin, it's almost the lightest cellular in the world! For the record, only the GSM Vader from Motorola is lighter, but only single band. Well, in my opinion the best and main reason I bought this phone was because of its GSM ability now for those of you who don't know what GSM is I will explain it! GSM (Global System for Mobile communication) is a digital mobile telephone system that is widely ...  Read the complete review

Ericsson T28 mobile phone (501 words)

Features: Lacks a built-in modem, but boasts great looks, plentiful features and clear call quality in the smallest phone chassis. In recent years the Ericsson mobile phone range has become as exciting as the boxy old Volvo estate car. The phones have been robust, strong, reliable and fairly user-friendly, but have been swiftly overtaken by Motorola and Nokia in terms of size, and completely left behind in the 'I want it, gotta have it' league. Enter the latest T28 model from Ericsson. According to the men in suits, T stands for 'trendsetting', and the T28 is "small, beautifully designed and always very smart". The word ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Ericsson T28 World: Small phone but perhaps a bit fragile (436 words)
by - written on 07/05/01 (Very useful, 220 readings)
Rating:

The first thing that strikes you about this phone is its size. It is incredibly small and thin. Having said that the aerial is a bit on the big side. It is NOT a tri-band phone as is often mistakenly claimed. It is a dual-band phone but is GSM900/1900 as opposed to the usual GSM900/1800. This is very important because it means that in the UK it can only be used on Vodafone or Cellnet. However it can be used in North America unlike the 900/1800 variety of phone. The main disadvantage to me is the flip – it seems so fragile that I’m always worrying it will get broken off. Since the microphone is in the flip this would be disastrous. The release button ...  Read the complete review

Excellent easy to use phone (923 words)
by - written on 19/04/01
Rating:

When this phone first came out a few years ago, I fell in love with it while perusing through the Ericsson site. This phone is terrific, and I have owned many cell phones. If you are interested in those that I have owned and have an opinion on here is a list of them: Motorola Lite II StarTac 6000, 6500, and 7797 Nokia 5160, 5190 Nokia 6160, 6188 and currently am quite happy with a Nokia 8260 and an Ericsson T28 ! What I find to be the most attractive feature of the T28, is it's size and the voice dialing capabilities of the phone. I have had many phones but this is the first with the voice dialing capability and I have to say I ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Ericsson T28 World: T28 What a fone! (209 words)
by - written on 10/04/01 (Useful, 117 readings)
Rating:

The T28 is possibly the best looking phone on the market. It is very small, extremely light and is very easy to use.It has a great design, which is only surpassed by the Nokia 8250 in my opinion. It offers voice activated dialling, a massive phonebook, games (tetris and solitaire), a vibrate function, and user changeable profiles. It is a tri-band phone (i.e. it can be used in U.S.A. abroad, etc) and is a very desirable phone to have. Also it has a flip which can answer and end calls which when used in the street looks very cool! Also, for such a small battery which weighs 22grams the T28's standby and talktime is excellent! The voice dialling feature is more ...  Read the complete review
