Advantages: Sleek, Stylish, Colour

Disadvantages: Joystick, Shortcuts, User-Unfriendly

I bought a new Ericsson T68i about a year ago. I have always had Nokia in the past but could not resist the colour screen and the add on camera (that i have not bought and don't intend to) I was there during the long queues with the must have brigade and had to fight to get my phone first. So it was with much anticipation that i opened and coveted my new phone. The first impression was yes this is a sleek nice looking phone and i waited patiently for the first charge of 14 hours so i could play with it safely. The joystick has always been a pain, the navigation loses me often, and the shortcuts are either hard to learn or non exsistant. All the Nokia's i had up till recently could be picked up and used imediatly without having to read the full instruction book. The Ericsson i have is not being used to it's full potential *my own choice) Although it has Calendar Notes, Sounds and Drawing features i see these just as novelty items that i personaly will never use, believe my when i say i read manuals from cover to cover to get the full use from any electrical item but i purchased this phone on a 14 day return and tried to return for my old Nokia, Unfortunatly the phone company registered the phone two days before posting it to me so i missed out on the 14 day exchange by 2 days, i was stuck with it. I NEVER go anywhere with out my phone ANYWHERE... But this phone i am happy to leave at home for short periods and go to the shops without any withdrawal symptoms associated with leaving your right arm at home. I am not just sulking this is just not the easiest phone to use. The joystick sends you the wrong way down the long list of menu's, i am often ringing the first person on my list for hours on end. Even with the keylock on you can, and I HAVE rang the emergency services while the phone is in my pocket 999 and 112 both work with the keylock on. I found out after a 43 minute call to them i had no knowlege of. All said and done this phone still looks clas
sy but i just wish Ericsson trie
d a little harder to make the features more user friendly, this phone was made in haste to be the first colour phone on the market i think, and the end user suffers for this fact.

Hiya and welcome to dooyoo ;)

A reasonable op but needs a bit more detail and some better laid out paragraphs to get you better ratings and therefore more reads. Try and have a read around the site to get an idea of the level of detail people expect.

Have fun here ;)
