Advantages: Lots of features, Tri-Band for all you travellers
Disadvantages: Signal strength, Unable to make calls, getting cut off
I received this phone on an upgrade from my old nokia 3210, I have had quite a few phones in the past and decided to try a different manufacturer, now I wish hadn?t. The main and basic function of a phone to me is the ability to make a phone call and this is made impossible on this phone by the varying signal strength, outside most of the time it is fine but as soon as I step indoors the signal is virtually lost and when I make calls I get cut off on every other one which is very annoying. I find myself going back to my old phone to make calls! Another aspect that I have found is that the keypad lock does not work well and unlocks itself and phones up all of your friends (a problem that also affects the nokia), and the lock does not cover emergency services which is good and bad, the fact that I have made a call to them by accident is not good, I wish they would remove this feature in future phones or at least have the ability to switch it off, I understand why it is there but I doubt it saves much time or that people know it exists. Overall the features features on the phone are good like the tones and pictures. Text messaging takes a while to get used to after moving from the Nokia but is fine when you get the hang of it.
