Advantages: sleek smooth design, reliable

Disadvantages: none

I got this phone with my birthday money in December 07. It only cost me £60 including a £10 top up - so basically £50.

The first thing that attracted me to this is that it is very sleek and modern looking - I like a phone with style! I was also happy to learn it had a 1.3MP camera (better than my normal VGA) and built in MP3.

This particular phone is available in many colours now - black, dark pink, lilac, brown - I have the dark pink one =)

It is currently priced anywhere between £40 and £80 depending on where you shop!

Design - As I stated before the design is probably the best thing about this model. It is very sleek and smooth. It is a slider phone and when you slide it up the buttons are shown. The mains 'buttons' are actually censors which take a little while getting used to but are great afterwards. The only problem I have had is when I accidentally touch the wrong one whilst in the middle of something.

Camera - 1.3MP camera built in which is handy for when out and about without your digital camera. The quality isn't too great but its ok and I wouldn't expect any more from a phone so cheap.

MP3 player - As I previously said the phone has a built in MP3 player also. This is handy for your favorite songs and has 128MB space (enough for about 30 songs). Unfortunately this phone doesn't allow for memory cards for extra space; however this is what our bipods are for.

Keypad lock - When the phone is closed it is automatically put on keypad lock to prevent the censors being accidentally touched. To unlock whist your phone is in this state you press the volume button (which is situated on the side) twice. This then allows you to use normally - except for the numbers obviously - whilst it is closed.

Games (Java) - There is only one game built in to this but there are plenty to download for a small price. The game included is Sudoko. I admit this is not for everyone but personally i love it.

Accessories - With your purchase of this phone you also receive - Headphones, Charger, USB cable and a draw string suede pouch. I'd recommend to use this pouch if you ever purchase this phone as it keeps it in great condition with no little scratches!

Making a phone call - This is basically the same as any other mobile phone except for the fact that the call button is a censor. You need not worry about your ear touching the censors and cutting you off as the phone goes on the automatic keypad lock when in call unless you change the volume during a call and then the censors are activated!

Overall I'd say the LG chocolate is a great buy - especially for the price. It is great value for money and also makes a fantastic fashion accessory.

Personally I'd be lost without my phone and i highly recommend this model.

Thanks for reading! Xx

Nicely written and organized review. Do be careful with your typing (perhaps you could put this through a spelling checker before you post). Also, you say very little here about how this works as a phone except for that last paragraph, and I don't understand what you mean by the call button being a censor.
