Advantages: Practical size, nice profiles and layouts, social networking, cheap price
Disadvantages: Screen broke and was beyond repair. Forced to buy another phone instead.
I bought the LG Cookie Fresh in 2010 when I wanted to buy a cheap smartphone that would be good for social networking. I bought the Cookie Fresh for £50 and so I expected a phone that would at least last a year, even if it was not the most high tech.
Once I'd got used to the touch screen I really enjoyed using the phone, particularly the layout on the screen and the slim size of the phone which is very portable. Unfortunately, I noticed that the screen was moving slower and slower and my touch became out of synch with the buttons pressed. I tired everything the manual said to salvage the problem but nothing worked. Within a few days, the screen froze on and off. Then the screen broke entirely and wasn't able to salvage any of my contacts and I could only speak on the phone if someone called me.
I took the phone in for repair and they said it was hopeless and I might as well buy a new phone. So I did and vowed to never buy any LG products again.
Summary: A nice looking phone but poorly made and frustrating.
