Advantages: slim,modern
Disadvantages: difficult to use if you are a klutz
Lets be honest as it goes this is a poor second to the iphone, but as with most things that i buy price and reviews win me over!!
I bought this on Virgins £8.50 a month tariff (100mins/100 texts plus phone free) which is perfect for me, all i wanted was a functional, modern mobile and this is what the cookie delivers.
The LG kp500 or cookie is not the easiest to use phone, even with the much praised touch screen I still find it awkward to use with my pudgy fingers.I am still having trouble dialling and got through god knows how many menus etc to get to the right number and still cannot fathom out answering it properly, is it green button or red? touch screen? but texting is superb only if you are rubbish at it like me then you can whip out your stylus and even use a QWERTY keyboard if you flip the cookie on its side it changes automatically to a keyboard WOW!!
Overall i like this phone just wish i could be bothered to sit and play with it and learn all the functions, dont bother with games they are rubbish, camera is o.k ,MP3 player not too bad either some nice functions like a currency/weight/distance converter and calculator and multiple alarms.
Buy one cheap and enjoy some modern gadgetry!!
Summary: good intro to touchscreen phones before you shell out a fortune!
