Good for the younger generation! (LG Cookie KP500)

Advantages: Good music player.

Disadvantages: everything else!

I switched to this from having a sony ericsson and i did not get on with this phone at all. I had numerous problems, first off, within the first week half of the touch screen stopped working, i then got it replaced, about a month after it started to send blank text messages, i got it replaced both times.
the screen is very easily scratched and the screen protector comes off within a week, granted you do get an extra one with it but as you try and put the second one on your phone you always seem to get pockets of air in it, so after numerous attempts the protector is no good as its covered in dust anyway.
the battery drains really quickly with it being touch screen and very software based so my advice is, cont buy it for anything spectacular otherwise the battery wont last.
the camera is poor quality and has no flash and you don't get a memory card with it, so if you do wish to store music and photos on it, buy one.
it also only comes with one stylus so don't loose that either.
the music player and games are the best thing that comes with it, the music player is very nice and looks very aesthetically pleasing and the music quality when it plays is excellent, but as i say, the battery will drain rather quickly and you don't get a memory card with it anyway so wont be able to store that much music on it.
i would suggest that this phone be used by younger people as the touch screen and applications are hard to navigate. the adverts make this phone look a lot better than it is, and make the features and applications look a lot more glamorous than they actually are! my advice would be to not bother.

Summary: I personally disliked this phone and wouldnt recommend it.
