Advantages: Easy to use
Disadvantages: No bluetooth, bad camera quality, no music playing features
I received the KG220 for christmas and it lasted me for roughly a year until it was dropped from an unnecessary height. So I'm afraid to say that the screen is unusable from now on.
However whilst it was in use it served me well as a simple, easy to use mobile phone.
It doesn't have bluetooth or infrared and doesn't contain special features such as music playing abilities or amazing camera quality. Even though the camera is acceptable with its 128 x 128 pixels, I only recommend you use it in well lighted areas.
The KG220 is an attractive clamshell mobile phone designed by LG.
It comes with easy to use built in attributes and comes in an attractively styled casing.
This KG220 looks similar to to the Motorola PEBL and of course it's brother, the KG320.
It consists of an internal colour screen which provides up to 65,000 colours on a CSTN screen.
The KG220 comes with an easy to use message service which includes MMS SMS and EMS messaging with an e-mail service also.
Overall I think that the design is fantastic, it's light, compact with a round nature.
It's not extremely hi-tech so I don't recommend it if you want the ability to play music or access the internet.

TheChocolateLady - 08.05.08 This is a good start, but you did leave me with lots of questions. For instance, I do wonder how this phone works as a phone, the battery life, using the menus, the phonebook, calling reception and more. |
