Advantages: Good Design, Light, Clear Screen & Buttons, Crisp Response On Keys, Cheap, Efficient
Disadvantages: Lacks Features
The LG KP100 is a great little phone, which is very easy and simple to use and serves to simply contact people with ease. It's not expensive at around £19.99 with some credit, but the phone doesn't have an excess of extra features.
The phone is very slim and mine is made of white plastic with a blue and white back cover. The screen is of a good size and has a good brightness and contrast, which can both be adjusted so you can easily see the screen in bright light or at night. The LG logo is just above the sign and the mobile company logo is below.
There are two select buttons and the green dial and red hang up buttons. Between these 4 buttons is a directional pad with 4 arrows, which works very well. The keypad is below this and it is considerably small but like all the keys, they click well when you press them so you get a very responsive touch. The phone is really light, which is great as it's slim too, so not difficult to carry around.
The phone has a good audio quality, which is quite loud. You can adjust your ring tone, keypad tone, message tone and their respective volumes in the settings. My phone game with one Suduko game, which works quite well if you have spare time to play it. There are more tools such as an alarm, calendar, memos, a calculator, a stopwatch, a unit converter and a world clock. These features can be very useful whilst out and about - I have used the memos to jot down a quick note before.
The phone is very easy to use and the keys give a crisp response. It is all very easy to view with backlit buttons too, and navigation is very simple. The ring tones sound great on this phone and it comes with quite a few preset polyphonic ring tones.
Overall, it's a great phone for around £20.00, as it will enable you to portably make calls and texts. It has a great design as it's very light and slim and it even has some added features to make life easier. I would recommend it if you're looking for a simple phone without any extras.
