Advantages: QWERTY keyboard, great for social networking, aesthetically pleasing
Disadvantages: Only 2MP camera, strange position for speaker
I like this phone a lot. I got the pink variety which is perfect for any girl. The QWERTY keyboard is really easy to use which I was very happy about as it is my first QWERTY keyboard phone. The only trouble is, if you have long nails, some of the buttons are a little hard to press as your nails get in the way however you do get used to it.
I read many bad reviews about this phone before I bought it but it is not as bad as some people were making out. The screen is a decent size and the live square wallpaper is a nice feature as it shows your recent contacts as different characters.
It is really quite easy to use with a well laid out menu however I do think it should be a touch screen for the menu as well, not just the number keypad.
It comes with many different sounds which is really good for someone who doesn't like downloading ring tones all the time.
I like the way the text messages are in threaded format with an avatar for the person who is texting. This is a nice feature, however it can get quite tedious when trying to select specific messages to delete.
I do have a few criticisms however, one being the quality of the camera. It is only 2 megapixels and this was a down grade from my previous phone. It doesn't take bad pictures, but they are not of brilliant quality, so I would not recommend this phone to someone who uses their mobile as the main source of taking photos.
Another criticism is the position of the main speaker. The speaker is on the back of the phone so when you put the phone down on a table, the sound gets slightly muffled, apart from this, the sound quality is very good.
The text inbox is full at about 500 messages which is not brilliant for me but is sufficient.
Also, when texting a long message (about 4 messages long) it starts to become increasingly hard to text. The cursor will keep moving around to the line above if you are a fast texter and it will start typing on the line above where you want it. I find it is okay and stops making errors if you text quite slow at that point but it does get a little frustrating at times.
Overall, it is a good little phone. There are a few things which I have noticed that could be improved but the majority of the time, the phone behaves and does what you tell it to do.
Summary: Overall a very nice phone and I do recommend it.
