Advantages: It is good to look at and easy to use.
Disadvantages: The handset life is short, turns itself off and people on the other line can't hear you speak.
I was so excited when I ordered this phone as I had always wanted a QWERTY keyboard. It's easy to text on, although I agree with one of the reviewers that once nails are too long or if you're a man it might not be the easiest of things to use. The phone is aesthetically pleasing, I have the blue version and lots of people have complimented me on the phone.
However there are quite a few negatives about this phone. The choice of ring tones and text tones are not the best and depending on the type of tone the tones are really quiet, especially my own mp3 songs. Therefore I have resorted to having it on vibrate as I feel it through my bag more times than I hear it.
As a compulsive texter, the phone only holds 500 texts (inbox, drafts and sent) which just isn't enough memory. Also I had to buy a separate memory card when I first bought my phone so that I could take photos with the camera. I think I only managed to save 8 photos with the phone's existing memory. The photo quality itself is fine, it's only a 2 megapixel camera, but I always use a digital camera anyway as in my opinion phone camera's tend not to be as good as a digital camera in general.
I bought my phone in January and about 2 months ago it started to turn itself off. Also whenever I call anyone there is no ringer tone letting me know that it is calling, I only I've dialed once someone says hello. Also lot of people have told me that I sound like a distant whisper on the phone when they call me, even when I'm shouting down the phone. The handset was inexpensive on it's own, but the life of the phone doesn't seem very long. If you want a phone with a long life or are expecting important calls this phone is not recommended. I have now resorted to using my old phone again.
Summary: Overall I wouldn't recommend this phone unless you change phone's every 4 months.
