Advantages: full querty keyboard for text messaging

Disadvantages: goes into lock mode very quickly

The LG Viewty, I have to say, I love it. I used to work for one of the mobile phone networks and can honestly say that at the time I did not think that much of the LG phones. When I left and with that also lost my phone and company discounted line rental, I got a new contract and a new phone. Why exactly I chose the LG Viewty I could not tell you, considering my less than positive view of it previously. Now though, nine month down the line, I can honestly say that I love it. I was worried as it has such a big touchscreen, that it would break easily or the LCD would crack but it is hardier than I thought. The screen is very large, makes for an easy life when you get a bit older and the eyesight goes, you can still write your text messages. I especially love the touchscreen when writing text messages as I can type as if I was using a normal keyboard, which lets me type the whole words without taking absolutely ages, don't you just hate text speak. Mine is in purple and I love the colour. I must admit that I never use the little stick that dangles from the side as I find I can use my fingernails, easy and quick.
I also love the little girl that sleeps on the saucer and occasionally throws some fairy dust into the cup, letting me know that I have a message. She goes to sleep quite early I believe, but during the day she stands behind the cup and shakes her shoulders sometimes. The one thing I do find annoying at times is that you have to press the butten on the side as it goes into lock mode after a very short time. But otherwise I just love my little biewty.
