Advantages: a cool phone that easy to operate
Disadvantages: Non worth mentioning
I am on the 3 network, as my partner works shifts and we really wanted to remain on the network at one can make video calls from the children. I have to admit, the choice is very limited on the network. I have always had Nokiaphones prior to this LG, other than a disaster Erikson one I never got to grips with. I was very apprehensive going for a totally different type of phone with a fancy pants to*ch screen. The chap in the shop had tried to encorage me to go for the Erikson eqiv, b*t really don;t like the way they worked.
Went for the viewty, and my goodness, it is by far the very best phone I have ever had. The main front screen is simple and well set o*t (sorry I have a letter broken!) It shows the basic reqirements, messages, bl*etooth, profiles, calender, internet search, my st*ff with photos videos etc, 3 la*ncher, tv, and palnet 3. The To*ch screen is not overly sensative as the sales man assred me it was and not to get it.
The main scrolling f*nchtionality is in the form of a wheel at the rear, its similar to a focasing wheel on a compact digital camera. This is the strangest part if the phone as its a little awkward to get the hang of.
The viewty has a 5 mega pix camera, very easy to operate, however I have fond a few times that it switches by itself to a loew mega pix setting, annoying if the perfect pic is taken and ya want to enlarge it.
On a negative note, and it really is the only one, it is difficalt to operate the calender to set as an alarm and a reminder. The nokia was very simple and I set it every time as a diary. I have managed to miss appointments etc as it doesnlt give reminders or alarms even when I think I have set it.
I am eligable for an *pgrade, b*t plan to keep this phone til it dies.
Summary: A great cool sexy phone

- 26/05/09 This is tricky to read. Misplaced '*' symbols throughout the review. If you try writing your review in a word processing prog first, you can add the letter 'u' through a different way. |
