Advantages: Good camera, sturdy design, lots of features
Disadvantages: Lots of options with camera, definitely take time to read the manual
I have this phone in red - Being honest I have to say I bought this phone mainly because it looks nice but also for the 5.0mp camera.
Love the touch screen aspect but it takes some getting used to. You get a small pen type device you can use for the touch pad but my own advice is dont bother with this - if you attach it to the handset it flaps about and gets in the way when your talking, and if you keep it seperate you can never find it when you need it. I gave up after about a week and just used my fingers, which I find OK but it wouldnt be as easy with large hands. When dialling a number the display is clear and big enough for anyone, and the menu is easy to navigate and understand. There are a number of options with texting - a normal texting keypad, qwerty keyboard or handwriting box (the latter is impossible to use in my opinion!). I love the idea of the keyboard and it makes it quicker for me as I'm a fast typist. However after using a full stop the first letter of the next sentence isnt automatically capitalised as it is with the ordinary keypad, which I find very irritating!
The camera itself is good but I have seen better 5 mega pixels to be honest, particularly on Sony Ericssons, I've always found them to be the market leader where cameras are concerned. Could just be my photography techniques though, whenever anyone else takes a pic on my phone it seems to turn out great. Its one of those though where you press the button down a bit until the red box goes green then press it right down. Easy enough, but not so easy on holiday in Prague recently trying to get a decent picture taken by non English speakers. Simple press-the-button-and-wow-you-have-a-picture cameras are probably better in that situation!
As for the other features I dont use them all to be honest, but from what I have used the sound quality is ok on the music player, fast bluetooth speeds, decent battery life, cant think what else really. One thing I will say though is buy a memory card if you want to take lots of pics, not much internal memory. Quite resilient in general, had it 8 months and hardly scratched at all which is highly unusual for me :)
Summary: A great phone but definitely read the user guide fully to get the most out of it
