I love my veiwty, although it does need tweaking (LG KU990 Viewty)

I bought this phone as I really wanted an Apple Iphone but couldn't afford one! I saw the viewty came in metallic purple and fell in love! I am always wary of taking out an 18 month contract, but because I loved the colour (I know that's a silly reason!) I decided to go for it. I am currently 14 months into my contract and I still love my phone, and I have not seen any on the market which I would consider replacing it with. However, saying this, the phone is not perfect. I bought a clear case from a market stall, which I am very grateful for as everytime I drop the phone (or my daughter throws it on the floor!) the case falls off and the back of the phone drops off. I hate to think what would happen without the case! Another problem is that I can hear people, however people always have a problem hearing me - even when I have great signal. I should have got the phone replaced but I am quite lazy about these things. The touch screen can be very annoying. Sometimes it is very sensitive, and other times it can be impossible to get away from the main menu by scrolling left of right, after scrolling onto it purely by accident. The other feature I hate about the phone is the keypad lock. This is a small button on the side of the phone, and as someone with a small child, this is not very practical as she manages to unlock the phone and get onto the camera or get onto the 'music store' within about twenty seconds. I would much prefer some kind of combination lock so that you deliberately have to press at least two things to lock or unlock the phone. The camera on the phone is the best I have ever had on a phone and I like the options of photo frames for messing around taking silly photos. I just wish the phone could store more photos and videos.

Summary: I love this phone - although mainly because of the looks and colour
