Advantages: great smart and sophisticated phone full of features!
Disadvantages: sensitive controls!
Ok, I was looking for a new phone, I liked the Idea of a touch screen but because I am an avid texter I was concerned that i wouldn't be able to punch out those texts as fast! So this seemed the perfect balance, it is pricy, but I got it as an upgrade so it didn't cost me but I would buy it anyway!
It is one of LG's elite 'black label' phones. GSM Europe/Asia bound phone, supporting both frequencies and one for roaming in America (900/1800/1900 MHz) which is great if you travel! It is also 3G capable, so it means you can log on to the internet. IT weighs 116grams and feels suprisingly robust, it doesn't feel liek a cheap phone!IT is also the slimmest 5MP camera on the market at the minute!
It has a great 2.6 " screen of which a quarter of which the navigation controls are touch screen (highly sensitive)
The LG Secret will always look as newsince the day you bought it, which is thanks to the materials used to make it. Its casing of carbon fibre, one of the strongest composite materials used for aircraft and high-performance cars, adds to the handset's durability. Its tempered glass LCD adds sheen and strength, as well as shielding the phone's screen, and its neon touch navigation buttons sensitively respond to commands with a luminous blue light.
It has a 5MP camera which is great and just as good as some digital cameras that are on the market. IT has the funtion use of different shots (panorama) (party mode) and it has the obvious colour settings (sepia, black and white, negative, blueish tint, emboss, sketch ) it also has a flash, which is great with auto photofocus and it can take videos, while alllowing you to also take a music video chooseing music already on your phone!
This really is an excellant phone packed full of features and one I would recommned spending the money on!
Summary: tad pricy but well worth the money!

- 07/01/09 Some good information here. I think what I find missing is that I'd really like a little bit about how this functions as a phone (calling sound quality, phonebook, battery life, etc.). Also - try to put your reviews through a spelling checker to get rid of those types of mistakes. |

- 06/01/09 I liked the viewty but it just felt to bulky nd light (if tht makes sense) and I didn't like the idea of a whole touch screen phone! Well it varies they sell sim free on some sites for £171 but then on others it leaps to £234.89! |

- 06/01/09 I had the choice of this or an LG Viewty.. I picked the Viewty.. Seemed there was too many problems with these.. You say it was pricey? How much was it then? |
