Advantages: Cutting edge design and very easy to use.
Disadvantages: Can be too easy to use, functions carried out against your intention and easily broke.
On first view this phone looks like the perfect phone. It's design is a great balance between a hip and swanky contemporary design along with good old fashioned design values and the touch buttons are great and well support by the conventional keyboard. But after a while problems start to arise. The first being that of the downside of having a touch screen. That is that it can bee easily accidentally activated. This causes the classic issues of calling random people in your phone book etc. A further issue I had with it was with the charger socket in the phone. I was charging it one day as per usual and I pulled out the plug as per usual and some of the charger remained in the phone which subsequently rendered the phone beyond economical repair as the repairers phrased it.
It is such as shame because it is a fantastic phone. The menus and interface is great and very easy to use. The slide being a particular plus as it keeps the phone nice and thin, but not too thin.
Techs:
Battery life is good. Call quality is good, good loudspeaker option. Messaging is easily with the standard buttons revealed by the slide. Good camera and camera function and nice secondary camera for video calls, although this can't be used for taking photos.
Summary: A nice phone, a shame it broke so easily.
