Advantages: Cool noises

Disadvantages: Hard to remove cover

The Trium Astral is the futuristic name for the Vodafone pay as you go phone released in December 1999. The styling is more down to earth then the name with a glossy-blue click on face.

If you don't like the cover you can change at £14.99, but let me warn you the click on cover is extremely hard to remove.

The Vodafone model offers a bespoke Vodafone menu system for quick access to your top up hot line and call credit balance however the rest of the phone is more or less similar to the phones little sister the Trium Galaxy.

The phone always produces cute little noises no matter what you press and if you press any other key than the numeric keypad ones thye phone starts making a cool electronic gurgling noise in a variety of different tones.

The phone is slightly let down by its very shortbtalk time which unfortunately is only 3 hrs however the stand by time is good in comparison and the phone is light and easy to manage.

The Astral is on the whole a well-made, no nonsense phone which I would reccommend for the first time user on a pay as you go set up and is ideal for a young person.
