Advantages: Very cheap., Nice silver metallic look design., Quite light too.

Disadvantages: Loading time., Can't download games.

I upgraded my Nokia 3330 to this Motorola c350 as I wanted a nice colour phone that wasn't too expensive and heavy. I purchased it for £59.99 from Index Catalogue sometime near christmas which I thought was a good price. The main thing was that it looked really good for it's £60 price tag.

It comes with a great array of features such as colour screen, games (Moto GP, Astromash and Snood 21), GPRS and polyphonic ringtones. I thought it had Bluetooth as well but it doesn't.

The colour screen is very vibrant (though it would be to me, as I only had Nokia 3330 before this) and can be easily adjusted to the theme that you want. There are six different themes to choose from and also some background pictures and screensavers too.

The menus are very simple and easy to navigate but some things can take quite long to load up. For instance even when my phone has been on for hours it still takes about 3.5 seconds to load up my recent call lists (this should load instantly). Apart from that though there no problems with the screen and menu navigation.

The games that come on the phone are okay. Moto GP is simply a motobike race game where you have to go round the track. Unfortunatly though you only get one level. It says that you can download more levels but on the box it says you can't download java games. So I'm not sure about that. Next up is Astromash which is a space game where you simply shoot the astroids. It's a little bit like that space game on the Nokia 3330 and 3310 accept it's in colour and is the other way around. I've never played the last game Snood 21 so you'll have to find that out for yourself.

The GPRS thing just makes the internet go faster an load up more quickly. It's kind of like DSL for the mobile. This is good so it don't waste up all of your calling credit. I only use it really to get cinema listings and ocassionally check email, so it's good for that.
r>I quite like the ringtones that are provided with this phone, unlike some of the past phones I have had. You get over 30 polyphonic ringtones altogether I think. You can also download some from WAP or from the internet or you can create your own little tune using the Moto Mixer. It's very easy to use and once you get use to it you can produce some nice lttle mixes.

On a more technical note the signal from the c350 is very strong and sound is also very clear. The phone is lightweight so it's easy to hold against your ear. Though if you are on for a long time the phone does get a bit damp kid of. The battery life is also very long lasting.

The Motorola c350 also has predictive text input as well but that is the one thing I don't like about this phone. But don't let me put you off, its just me I've never like predictive texting because for some reason it just takes me ages to write a message. But if your good with predictive text then this will be a great benefit.

The tarrif that I got with the phone was 'Virgin Mobile'. I like this tarrif very much. It offers 15p for the first 5 minutes and the 5p after that. Also texting is only 3p to another Virgin Mobile customer. I think normal texts are jus 10p.

So overall if you don't want a fancy camera phone and just one that looks good and does what it's supposed then this is for you. It's very cheap and has some great features.

I think my sis has this phone, but I'm not very keen on it myself. Mind you, that's just because my little Nokia 7250i is the apple of my eye. Teehee.

My brother has this phone, and for someone like me with big fingers, this phone would just be too small for me. i prefer my nokia 3510i, which is very similar to the c350
