Poor quality and many mistakes (Motorola E1000)

Advantages: Small, has all important functions

Disadvantages: bad quality, battery doesn't last, bad camera, bugs in programming

I got this phone as a substitute for my old old Nokia. At first I felt ok about it, main problem being learning to use the keyboard since all main buttons were on different side than it used to be before. i didn't take it as a problem - but I believe for some people it can be really annoying.

However, I soon noticed more problems. Opening the deck was nearly impossible. I had to change SIM cards quite often and that was really difficult. Apparently, you need certain lenght and angle of your nails to be able to do that - and not to be too afraid to break them.

Another thing is screen. I was used to be able to see time even when the screen light turns off. Dream about this with this phone. Not handy for such people like me, who like to be punctual and always know exact time.

I was dissapointed with camera as well. All pictures looked dull and grey, it was very difficult to get any colours, even after trying to change contrast and other features. It just didn't work, pictures would only get lighter/darker, but still same grey and dull.

But these were minor problems compared to what started happening later. After some time I noticed that some of my messages were containing many strange symbols (^&%*&*&) and such messages were impossible to read - they closed automatically after few seconds. I can understand those were messages sent from different phones, however, it could just ignore different programming instead of making it impossible to read.

I am not even talking about the fact, that battery soon lasted so short I couldn't even have my mobile last one whole day. Going to the party and getting taxi was always a risk because my phone battery was dead half of the time. The rest of the time I had to leave it at home, charging. Mobile phone that is not mobile.
All in all, I don't recommend it at all.

Summary: Bad quality, bad choice looking at price/quality comparison. Not reliable at all.
