Advantages: Inexpensive, a good starting phone

Disadvantages: No time, no extra ring tones

There are some aspects of the phone that should be considered before purchasing this phone. I got this phone at the beginning of June 2000, as it was at a great price of £30 at the Orange Shop. On pay as you go the rates are also pretty good. But some things I, and others familiar with this phone are irritating.The main point is that there is no time function connected with the pay as you go phone. Although a time function can be shown on startup of mobile, it does not work, eventhough a time and date can be shown at the time a text message is recieved. Another thing is that the ring tone, for text messages cannot be changed, and no other ring tones can be downloaded like ones available with Nokia models for normal calls. Even with these problems, this phone is a good, basic starting phone. The weight isn't too bad, and it's looks are pretty good. But if a phone you are looking for is useful, handy and hardly ever confusing, then this is perfect.
