The Motorola M3888 is perhaps not the lightest phone in the world, but it still reamins one of the best budget phones on the market. SIZE This phone is now around 1 year old and so is slightly heavier than many newer phones around, however the phone received some bad public image, while Magazines voted it 5* "offering the price of a budget phone with many of the features of the up and coming new ranges soon to be launched" yet it was almost exactly the same as a Nokia 3210, and size wise it is slimmer than most phones, meaning it fits better in pockets, and although like many phones it looks big, it is an average size. Hi, I bought this phone from a Virgin mega Store. It is the most reliable and elegant little phone that I have had the pleasure of owning. I can't tell you how many times I have dropped this phone, and not once has it threatened to go belly up on me. Almost a year later and this phone is as reliable as it was on the first day when I bought it. Why pay more for something that won't last. Believe me when I say, my friends are constantly replacing their phones. But that's only because their phones aren't a Motorolla M3888. By the way, incase you're wondering, I don't work for Motorolla, I'm just proud of my ... Read the complete review

I bought this phone through the Virgin network for a measly £39.99 (plus a £12.50 service pack which includes £10 of free calls anyway). I was pleasantly surprised, the phone has a bulky appearence but is hardly weighty and is quite easy to carry around. The fatures are simple yet effective, no silly ring tones, no ridiculous game, just a phone that does what a phone should. The battery time is good, and the re-charge time even better (1-2 hours) It also takes AA natterys if you misplace your charger or something :) It has text messaging, Virgin extras, but no calender or calculator. But this if you are looking for a simple, easy to use phone :) ... Read the complete review

If you want to use your phone for calls and messages then this is the perferct phone for you. If on the other hand you want a fashion accesory then this is past it time. The M3888 is a good performer and isnt too heavy or too large, it easily fits into your pocket and the quality of voice conversations is excellant. The signal reception is also very good. A friend of mine is on the same network as me but he uses the Nokia 3120e. In the same locations my M3888 always has the stonger signal strength in comparison. The range of features is adequate for most users, the phone supports Call Waiting, Call Diversion, Short Message Service, Fax, Data and many other features. ... Read the complete review
