Advantages: Nice finish, clear screen, good call quality

Disadvantages: User interface could be better

Having used a Motorola Razr V3 for some time, I was really interested to see this newer version that looked a lot slimmer, so I picked one up. On unpacking it and turning it on, I was really happy to see that the outer casing was really high quality. Nice and shiny with a good paint job.

The screen is fantastic too, very clear with nice colours. In use the Motorola K1 seems very fast. It responds to button presses nice and quickly. The camera is not the best, but more than good enough for snapping fun photos. The call quality is very good, with the people on the other end sounding very clear indeed.

The only bad thing was that the interface is the usual Motorola one, which is not very easy to navigate at time. It is sufficient, but I was really hoping they would have made a new version for this new phone.

Summary: Worthwhile if you loved the Razr V3
