Advantages: 24K Gold, Bluetooth, Nice packaging
Disadvantages: Same as RAZR2, just more expensive
When I saw it in the advert, amongst David Beckham and that big slithering snake, I didn't think much of it - until I saw it alive. I went out and bought one straight away, as I couldn't resist.
The packaging was what struck me in the right spot, it was beautiful crafted, with gold trims, exclusive looking and elegant, luxurious and even kingly, with one section opening up to show the phone, and the other the bluetooth headset, which was in gold. How can you resist such a thing!
The phone is large, flat yes, but large and wide. Which I didn't like. Other than that, I liked the contruction, the snake-skin back, the gold ornaments, oh so decorative and expensive looking. The features were identical to that of normal Motorola RAZR2, except the special theme given to luxury Edition, and the storage of 2GB. It is easy to use, nice keypads, and the music player is brilliant. What's even more, is the bluetooth mentioned, of gold, and it's very compact and stylish. It was truly delicious.
However, the lack of functions, bad 2MP camera and the wide-size did bore me and made me turn to other alternatives. Expensive too, all that 24K gold makes this phone twice or even thrice more expensive than normal RAZR2, which has all the same functions.
Summary: Go for it, if you want to look flashy!

- 20/09/08 While this is well written it doesn't tell me enough about how this phone works to help me make a buying decision. |
