Advantages: slim, tough and decent camera

The Motorola V9 is a slim, stylish phone that also ticks all the boxes for being incredibly durable, an important feature for a student who is forever tossing belongings in bags and on wet bars.

If you're not used to the motorola software the first few days are a complete nightmare, with an unusual functionality and menu navigation. However as soon as you are over this element the phone is suprisingly easy to use and rather more logical than some of the flashier software emerging on the market at the moment. The predictive text is intelligent and amazingly efficient, and it is easy to attatch files and photos to messages.

The camera provides clear sharp shots that look even better once you get them off the phone and onto a big screen.

I didn't actaully realise that the large front screen was touch sensitive for some time, and whicle it didnt seem very useful, it is an easy way to read messages without opening the phone and play music.

Had a tendency to freeze after a while but this was easily fixed with updated software.

Overall a tough but stylish phone with a good camera and ugly, but very efficient and enjoyable software.

Summary: Great if you dont really want to use the internet much.
