Advantages: looks and sounds good.
Disadvantages: memory could be better
having had my v3 for a while now i feel in good place to comment on it and would like to say to anyone thinking of buying one, go ahead. this phone not only looks good it performs well too. fits snugly into a pocket without leaving unsightly bulges and has great features.
the camera function and video capture functions on this phone are certainly the best out of the phones i have owned. excellent quality from the videos even afetr they have been transfered to my pc they still look good, as with the photos which are very good quality once transfered. previous phones i have owned such as the samsung d500 and several sony ericsons have not been able to produce the image clarity that this phone can.
another useful function on this phone for me is the alarm which doesnt have to be changed dailly as you can select many alarm setting at the one time then just enable the one you need for the day coming.
the wap service and instant messaging on this phone has been quite good too, some phones seem to fail to connect or take an age to load msn but with this it really is click of a button stuff and very very rarely does it fail to connect, in fact only twice that i can think of in the several months of using this phone!
Motorola are clearly very conscious of the look of this phone, A huge amount of attention to detail has been put into its design, from the beautiful anodized aluminium finish, to the unique precision cut keypad that looks good and helps to shave some extra millimetres off the V3's vital statistics.
here are some of its very impresive specifications.

i personaly paid £89.99 for this phone but the price has fallen again since and as it was worth the sum i paid it is certainly worth what you can get it for now. i have seen this phone available at various online stores for less than £60.
all in all if you want a stylish phone as well as one with all the extras you are likely to need then you cant go far wrong with this one because although there are certainly more advanced phones available they are way more expensive and no where near as sleek!
hope you found this review helpful and thanks for reading!

Lauren06 - 21.04.07 Great review, can you tell me if the videos you take on this phone run smoothly when you play them or are they choppy (I mean do they have tiny short pauses constantly)?
Your help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks! |
