Advantages: Reliable, simple phone

Disadvantages: Low tech by modern standards

The motorola v3 is a very good looking phone. At the time of it's launch it was rather advanced, but now it wouldn't be considered anything more than basic.

If you're looking for a simple, easy to use phone that is well built and does exactly what you'd want a phone to do (i.e. make phone calls) this is for you.

It is good for texting owing to large keys and screen. It's camera is low resolution by todays standards, but is sufficient enough to make out what you have taken a picture of.

This is very well designed, and is considerably sleeker and better looking than most phones available now.

It has a very small memory, and is only adequate for about 50 photos, or a couple of mp3 tones. So if you're looking for a truely multimedia device, this is not for you.

Good:

Very good at basics -i.e calls/texts
Solidly built
Good looking
Cheap (now)
Good battery life

Bad:

Small memory
Poor camera
