Advantages: Feels solid and reliable.
Disadvantages: Doesn't survive a 40 degree wash
I had this phone for a little while before I put it in the washing machine and killed it, but while I had it I was only ever pleased with its performance.
The sound quality when making phone calls was excellent, both crisp and clear. The music player was easy to navigate and controlling playback was a cinch. Again, sound quality was perfect.
The screen was very good and image quality was great, all the images being sharp and defined. All pictures taken were of a good enough quality to upload to facebook.
The keypad had a nice, firm, reassuring feel to them. They pressed with a satisfying click and I never found my fingers pressing more than one key like with smaller keypads.
The phone itself had a reassuringly solid feel to it and never once felt flimsy when opened. The built in memory was ok for basic use but if you want to take lots of pictures or put lots of songs on it, you will definately need to buy an additional memory card. Luckily, these are actually quite cheap.
All in all, a nice little phone. Just don't wash it and kill it like I did!
Summary: A good purchase, worth the price.

- 21/02/09 sorry for the low rating but you cannot fairly review a mobile phone in a few weeks, especially not motorola's. really need to give them 6-8 months use, as they do seem to damage way to easily.
your missing key details from the review such as the technical spec of the camera and the internal memory, is it 3g or just ums? |
