Advantages: cheap mp3 phone with all the latest gadgets

Disadvantages: low battery life,heavy

Bought this phone for my teenage daughter, which for a start loves it. The phone itself has plenty of character and although not as much street cred as the Sony's, Nokia etc, it's over all not a bad phone. The phone is bit heavier than more expensive phones but is user friendly. Other than the normal making calls and texting, the phone has many other functions.

The white cover with the silver buttons sets it apart from other phones and gives it its own identity. On the side of the phone it produces multi colored lights; this gives the phone a sense of ambience and display when the phone makes any kind of sound. The phone is very easy to use with a menu button set on top of the numbers. From here it allows you to access the functions of the phone. You can also set the four top functions on the screen and access them via the toggle button. On the side of the phone are tiny speakers that are set so not to distort when playing any tunes from the phone. I think the sound quality when playing tunes is very good compared with other phones in my house. The camera on the phone is only a VGA camera but still provides reasonable picture quality. As also with the video, this can be set to two settings of which are for sending via text which you tend not to get very long and normal storage setting that records that bit longer. The lens is situated on the back of the phone. Other functions are Bluetooth, two games, multimedia (pics, sounds etc) phone book, web access, alarm clock calculator etc.

The main selling point behind this phone is that you can download and play itunes which is part of the ipod industry. The phone comes with a disc that you download the itune software onto the computer but this version may be slightly out of date so it's best to go straight to the itunes site and download the latest version. The phone boasts a 512mb memory and holds about 100 itunes. The phone does hold MP3 files but at this stage I'm not sure how many. The phone also comes with its own flash memory card that will hold your pics etc that you can then download into your photos.

The downside of the phone is the battery life is not very long and you feel as though you are constantly charging it. I wouldn't say it's as good as the Sony's but for a good cheap phone with all the same gadgets it's worth a try.

Summary: cheap but versitile phone
