A good buy (Motorola T191)
Member Name: muir2000
Advantages: Small, Best choice of games, Can be used abroad Disadvantages: Can't download ringtones, High power consumption
I recently bought this, my first mobile phone, because two of my friends had the same one and I thought it looked very cute. Upon buying it, I found out there was much more to it than just good looks, and as mobile phone technology had been something I had overlooked in the past, I was very pleased at its ease-of-use. It has the greatest choice of games available on a mobile handset and is WAP enabled, although I don't use this feature due to the high cost involved. The price of this handset varies from around £80 to £100 depending which network you choose and where you purchase from. This phone can be used abroad which I found particularly useful while in Ibiza this year, being able to text and phone people back home without having to use complicated public pay phones with foreign instructions! There is one thing that I don't like about this handset though, and that is its inability to download ringtones from the internet, although there is a ringtone composer(but I have not mastered it), and also, logos, which the majority of handsets can have downloaded, but the Motorola T191 cannot. Having said this, I usually have my phone switched to silent anyway and it has many settings, for meetings, outdoors etc. All in all, a thumbs up. Summary: |
