Advantages: this phone is really light, stylish, comfortable and an all-round good piece of technology
Disadvantages: SMS messages are harder to write out when coming from a nokia phone, not many ring tones, doesnt support operator logos or picture SMS
I received this phone as a christmas present, i was expecting less from motorola, they obviously have been listening to what they need to do to meet up to rivals, Nokia. I have nokia 5146 on UK One2One and now the Great Motorola T2288 (talkabout) first, let me start off on comparison between the two phones i have, Nokia first, the 5146 has graphics, and supports operater logos, but just hold it in your hand, with the Talkabout in the other hand and you will notice the difference in weight. also, in comparison with the motorola colorado, m3788e this phone is a great improvement. There has not been any added ring tones, or predictive text messaging, as with the Nokia3210, but it is light, small, so small, in fact, that it takes 3 "AAA" size batteries that takes up half the length of the phone excluding antenna. This phone has no games, but the WAP capability makes up for that. excluding network problems, ie busy system at new years, or christmastime, where you can expect low coverage, this phone always offers strong signal strength. Essential for a WAP capable product, the graphical screen is clearer than that of any of motorola's previous efforts, and the menus are easy to navigate. Although I am experiencing some problems with BTCELLNET, this phone rates as very useful in my mind..
