What Battery? (Motorola V220)

I was looking for a flip phone and although I would have loved a Nokia, their flip phone range is way too expensive on pay as you go. The V220 is a very good looking phone and generally I really like it. However, the one real downer is the battery life. After getting used to the everlasting batteries in Nokia phones I was horrified at how little time you get before the phone goes dead. Last week I charged it over night on Thursday and it was dead by Sunday. I would have expected this if I'd made lots of calls but I'd only made a couple of 2min long calls. It seems that the battery lasts fine if all you do is send texts but once you make calls, you've got very little time! Another annoying feature is it only has 3 bars to show the battery charge so, once you get down to 1 bar (and that doesn't take much!), how are you supposed to know how long you've got left?

There are plenty of other good features but blue tooth or infra red would have been better than USB (I assume you have to buy the lead for the USB port from motorola at great expense!)

To conclude, it's a great phone if you're prepared to charge it every night!
