Advantages: Small, colourful menu system, easy to use with good battery life
Disadvantages: Screen resolution isn't brilliant
I bought this phone in November last year and so far have had no problems with it at all. It was a lot smaller than I first expected, and I found it very easy to start using, even without fully reading the instruction manual.
The phone has a display on the front when closed which shows the time, battery life and signal. It lights up whenever the flip top is opened. Below it is the camera lense.
Inside, there is a quite small screen again with the time, battery life and signal. It also features a mini menu which you can customise with icons of features you use most often. The main menu can be easily accessed by the top button on the keypad. On the background you can use the wallpapers already installed on the phone, or you can use photos you take yourself.
The key pad is very straightforward. There is a small, round key with arrows that can be used to direct your way around menus etc. and on in the centre is a small button used for selecting options and taking photos. The buttons for starting and ending a call are on either side of this, below two keys which are used in texting etc. Above all these is the main key for accessing the menu.
And below are the number keys.
The menu system is simple to use. It also comes with screensavers, one of them being moving water which is even nice to watch. You can also use your own photos as a screen saver. The colour sheme of the phone can also be changed, with colours such as Solar, a vibrant yellow, to Midnight, a dark purple.
The phone also offers a wide range of ringtones and jingles which can be used for phone calls and when you receive a text. It comes with two games, Hungry Fish and OpeItOut. Both are good fun to play, and along with them is FotoFunPack2 where you can add various backgrounds etc. to photos you have taken.
The camera is also easy to use, with one button on the left side of the phone being used to access is quickly. It has three zoom options and you can also change the brightness of your picture. There are already some animated pictures on the phone, and you can save quite a few as well. There is also a short film on the phone, although it can't record films.
Pictures can also be used as caller display, where you can have pictures allocated to the different people in your phone book and their picture will appear when they call you. You can also use voice name and record their name so that you can simply speak it into the phone when you want to phone them.
The battery lasts for quite a while before you need to charge it again. I have left it on for several hours, without using it, and it still didn't need charging.
Overall, I would highly recommend this phone to anyone. It is my first phone and I have found it very easy to use.

- 17/03/06 I have this phone at the moment and I think it's great. The only thing I'd complain about is the poor quality of the photos, but then I don't really bother with the camera on my phone so it's not really important. |

- 17/03/06 I would have liked to know a bit about how long the battery lasts between charges, along with ease of texting and call quality. |
