Advantages: Durability, simple to use, good design

Disadvantages: Camera quality, memory capacity

I got this phone over two years ago, and it's lasted brilliantly. At the time I had it, I remember my brother saying that the new phone he picked was so much better and that the Motorola V220 was rubbish etc. yet a year later his phone broke and had to be replaced. So, the V220 is definitely great for durability. I've also dropped it quite a few times and it's still working fine, so it's got to be tough!

I love the fact that it's pink. It's just so much more personal to me because it's my favourite colour and it's a nice design as well. It's a good size and isn't heavy.

It has a reasonable camera, but it can't really store many photos, so it can be annoying when you want to take a quick picture but you have to free up some space first. It doesn't have Bluetooth or many other features though. It has got some games and the usual office features, but it doesn't have a great variety of these.

The battery life is pretty good, it just tends to run out if you use the camera a lot. It doesn't take long to charge either.

When I first had the phone I used the Fresh pay as you go service, by Carphone Warehouse. I would not recommend it to anyone. I chose it because texts were 5p and calls 15p/min, but it ended up being very expensive, and caused a lot of problems when using my phone. It continually froze in the middle of phone calls and the only way to fix this was to take the sim card out and put it back in. It also used up credit extremely fast. It cost money to check how much credit you have, as there was no free number to do this. It charged for calls I made where the recipient didn't pick up. Overall the service was very unreliable. However when I changed back to my T-Mobile sim card, everything worked fine and there have been no problems since.

It's pretty simple to use, texts are quick to do and calls are also simple. I also like how you can customise the home screen and menu style.

Just a little annoying thing is that sometimes when it's in my pocket and I move, the buttons on the outside get pressed and make loud noises.

I bought my phone for around £55, so it was definitely good value for money, and I expect it will still work fine for a while. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a good camera phone.

Good start but to be honest, the information about what you were charged for calls and usage isn't really relevant - remember you're reviewing the phone itself and not the service provider you got it with. Also, what about the sound quality for making and receiving calls?
