Premium Review Motorola V220: Good, cheap phone (224 words)

Rating:

I had this phone as one of my first and enjoyed using it. The screen is a little small however, which you will notice when you compare it with other phone's especially these days. However it is easy to use. It doesn't have an MP3 player but has MP3 ringtones and a basic camera. Not sure about video and bluetooth, I know it is quite a basic phone. ...  Read the complete review

The Motorola V220 was the first phone that i brought and it did me well. It still works and has been used for at least four years before now. Anyway, this phone, is just that a phone. It dosent have all the latest features and everything but if all your looking for is a phone then this is a great. I brought the phone for around £60, and ...  Read the complete review

I've got to admit - I am thoroughly biased towards this phone, my little phone, but I love it so much that I refuse to get something classier with more bells and whilstles. Although, I've got to admit that the origional reason I bought it was because it was a "flippy flippy" phone! (before this I had only ever experienced those dreadful ...  Read the complete review

this was the last pay as you go phone i bought. Its a flip phone which was great because it avoids getting the screen all scratched up and not powering a colour screen all the time makes the battery last longer - the battery in there has lasted about two years, just bought a replacement now and that only cost £3. its a nice size and fits well ...  Read the complete review

Crowned Review Motorola V220: Not a phone for the tech type but perfect for me (577 words)
by - written on 16/03/08 (Very useful, 107 readings)

When I needed a new phone I decided I only wanted a basic one because I don't use it very often. I saw the Motorola V220 in a phone shop by me and it had been reduced to £35 so I brought it. The man in the shop had told me it is one of the easiest phones to use. I am very pleased with it. There are plenty of basic ringtones to choose ...  Read the complete review

I got this phone over two years ago, and it's lasted brilliantly. At the time I had it, I remember my brother saying that the new phone he picked was so much better and that the Motorola V220 was rubbish etc. yet a year later his phone broke and had to be replaced. So, the V220 is definitely great for durability. I've also dropped it quite a few ...  Read the complete review

The Motorola V220 is a nice looking phone but it fails to deliver on features although the price of the handset suggests that this would be the case. One of the missing features is a video camera. There is a camera on the phone but it only takes pictures and I find them to be of quite poor quality. Apart from this the phone has a nice selection of ...  Read the complete review

A brilliant simple phone for those who want to make and recieve calls and send and recieve texts.
Has voice dial, and a camera for the gadgety.
A good range of ring tones and very important holds the charge longer than any of my previous phones.
Easy to use and to switch off and on.
I cant think of anything negative at all.
Ok it not Bluetooth but I dont need that!

I purchased this phone last year on virgin 'pay as you go'. On comparaison with other phones, I found the v220 to be incredible value for money as one of the cheapest branded flip phones at the time. I have had no problems with this phone at all and found it to be the ideal size to fit in a pocket or handbag. It is very easy to use and even my ...  Read the complete review

Purchased a Motorola V220 yesterday, found the manual rather technical, and somewhat daunting to start with. Moved from Nokia to Motorola as my past 3 Nokia phones have failed for technical reasons; Wanted a quality name for next phone. To me a mobile phone is a phone and nothing more. If I wanted a washing machine I would purchase a washing ...  Read the complete review

I purchased this phone on a bit of a whim really, the model I was after was out of stock and this was the closest available. Upon opening the box I discovered that this phone comes complete with the holy of holys, its own data cable, so no messing about trying to buy one! The phone itself when closed is around the size of a ...  Read the complete review

I bought this phone in November last year and so far have had no problems with it at all. It was a lot smaller than I first expected, and I found it very easy to start using, even without fully reading the instruction manual. The phone has a display on the front when closed which shows the time, battery life and signal. It lights up ...  Read the complete review

i got this phone using my virgin mobile red discount (an amount accrued from your spending on top ups over max of 2 years). Anyway im not usually a fan of flip phones but have really enjoyed using this one. although now it is generally outdated by the ever newer fancier models it remains a steady, useable handset. it has an inbuilt ...  Read the complete review

This is my newest gadget! I'm not technophobic but I do have a tendency to shy away from overcomplicated electronics and computers. (Apart from cameras....!) I like things to do the basics and do them well. I don't need all the bells and whistles that are becoming more and more common on products these days. I was presented with this ...  Read the complete review

I recived this phone as a xmas present last year (2004). I have to say it's such a small, nifty phone & it's so easy to use. It only took me a short while to learn how to use it. However.... I asked for this phone as a birthday present as my old phone was getting tired and I'm delighted with it. I decided on this one mainly because it was pink and reasonably priced, but I have been very pleased with the quality of it. I have found the camera to be good, the ring tones are fine and very clear, and I like the colourful display. It ...  Read the complete review
