If you are looking for something cool and nifty do not look past this little number. I was devastated when I lost my Nokia 7110e provided exclusively for Orange customers, and as I had no insurance was looking for the cheapest option available to me. This is when this nifty little thing came to light. The V2288e again is specific to Orange customers although is available to other providers also, but the model number is just V2288. What the difference is I am not actually to sure? I think it is something to do with the information services and the WAP capability of the phones. Orange customers have an automatic 12-month block on WAP sites that ... Read the complete review

Motorola really know how to make a good phone. It is incredibly feature-packed for a £40 (with a free Orange Out-Here pack) phone. This phone is on Orange and so will have slightly different features to the standard Motorola V.2288. I will list and comment on all the features of the phone. WAP Internet Access- The WAP part of the phone is great. It is simple to use and easy to configure. You can set one neat feature allowing the phone to auto-disconnect after so many seconds of inactivity (saving your phone bill!). I recommend getting a BT Talk 21 E-mail account if you have this phone because you can easily access your e-mail while on the move. ... Read the complete review

Motorola flirts with the masses by adding a radio feature to their V2288 WAP phone. Although the radio may be convenient, it does not help your Wapping experience. Bulky The phone weighs 138 gram, about the same as Nokia 7110, but it is even more bulky and uncomfortable to carry. The phone includes neither a modem, nor an IR-port. So forget about synching your mobile-data or surfing with a big-screen in the bush. Clumsy Navigation The V2288 is not much different than the T2288. It is not very intuitive to get onto the net, and almost just as hard to log off. Another disadvantage was the lack of bookmarks. You have to type ... Read the complete review

Motorola may not be the worlds number one when it comes to mobiles - namely Nokia take that role! However they really do know how to make a good phone. As a quick run down: You can have your own private party on a bus with this little mobile! It's got a built-in FM radio and headset so that you can plug up, turn on and tune in! Not only that, the pack comes with two rubbery style stretch-on 'rubber boot' covers that shelter it from bumps and bangs a mobile experiences! These rubbery styles ones are very different compared to Nokia's fascia's and the likes. ~ General notes ~ Weight: 150g Battery ... Read the complete review

I have had three mobiles - the Alcatel Max DB, a Nokia 3310, and this one - this is the worst phone out of the three in my opinion - I have written opinions on those too - check them out. As usual I'm not going to dabble on about each aspect of the phone - just the major parts. When you buy a phone, what do you look for? Well, along with nice reception, you need style, a good brand, games to keep you occupied on those long train journeys, a calendar for those business type people, long battery life, predictive texting, a clock, etc etc - well.... this phone doesn't really cover any of those features - apart from the brand name and style. ...
